Fantasy Football Projections and Tips Week 12

I have just one week left till the fantasy football playoffs. I currently hold the #1 seed in my league and am hoping to win out. I am also hoping that you are going to reach the playoffs in your league and that you’re not repeating Jim Mora’s famous quote about the playoffs to yourself. “Playoffs?! Don't talk about playoffs! Are you kidding me? Playoffs?! I'm just hoping we can win a game, another game!”

These next few matchups will be important because they could decide your playoff seeding or knock you out of the playoffs. Be smart and start players who are sure things.  Don’t take risks, unless you have too.

The Carolina Panthers have the week off so I am going to give you some tips and my list of top players at every position for week 12.

My Fantasy Football Tips:

1.      Use Twitter – Twitter is all about the now. You need to follow NFL insiders who are always the first to know what is going on the NFL. The insiders can tell you who is starting, injured or who is active. Two great twitter accounts to follow are Adam Schefter @Adam Schefter and Matthew Berry @MatthewBerryTMR.

2.    Think Ahead – Teams in your league might be too quick to drop a player. That player might be injured or underperforming. If you look at “recent transactions” you can see the activity that is going on in your league. If you think that the player will help your team in the future, pick him up!

3.    Be Active – Being active does not mean only checking your team once a week. Being active means logging in everyday. I am one of those guys who will look at his roster, players available and league activity every day. This gives me the advantage because I can see the latest drops, and point projections, and adjust my team accordingly.

Best Fantasy Lineup For Week 12:

QB- Aaron Rodgers

RB- Jamaal Charles

RB- DeMarco Murray

WR- AJ Green

If you are winning your fantasy league, who do you have in your starting lineup?
