The C3 Fantasy Football Challenge is a 48 team league consisting of 4 divisions that operate as independent fantasy leagues. It marries the scale of rewards that come with bigger leagues with the competitiveness of a traditional 12-team PPR league. The coolest part of the challenge that it is tailored for the Carolina Panthers fan. It’s a super league that consists of super fans, all with one commonality--the Cardiac Cats.
Because the leagues consists of 95% Panther fans, Carolina players tend to come of the board much higher than they do in most leagues. Last year, it seemed as if people were taking a kicker in the 6th round just so they could get Graham Gano. We do love our Panthers.
Cam Newton’s ADP in the C3 league:
Cam was selected at the 29th, 35th, 57th, and 82nd overall picks. It’s an ADP of 37.5 for the Panther quarterback. Fantasy Pros calculated an 88.2 ADP for Newton. It's a number that averages the average selection from five different major fantasy football platforms.
So there’s clearly a little disconnect between a fantasy league composed of fans from the same team and the world. Newton has been a late round option everywhere, but the C3 FF Challenge. I’m still scratching my head on this one….how come we’re the only one’s that got it right? Average that world!
