The Panthers success has shaded Kelvin Benjamin's rehab of his torn ACL suffered in training camp. The cameras occasionally focused on KB on the sidelines during games throughout the season, but the team's success rarely called for the camera men to search for stories of interest off the field. Last week, however, Joe Person reported that KB had returned to practice and had been running for the past five months.
Today, Benjamin posted this balance exercise on his Instagram:
Benjamin is looking fit and focused in this glimpse into his rehab. If there were any concerns of Benjamin coming out of college, it was his tendency to momentarily lose focus, resulting in errant drops. It looked the case at times last season, when even Benjamin admitted that the lengthy pro-season was mentally grueling. Benjamin may have dropped a few easy balls last year, but he also showed he is on the precipice of becoming a big-time NFL receiver.
Getting this focused Benjamin back in the Black 'n Blue next year means bad news for opposing defenses.
