Panthers Pro Bowlers Announced And It's No Surprise

The Panthers had a record high 10 players voted into the Pro Bowl in 2015. This season they will have four and they should be of no surprise.

Thomas Davis, Luke Kuechly, Greg Olsen, and Mike Tolbert have each been chosen for the 2016 Pro Bowl to represent the Panthers.

Its Kuechly's fourth pro bowl, Davis' second, Olsen's third, and Tolberts third. All were also part of the 2015 roster as well.

QUICK NOTES-

-Kuechly is one Pro Bowl away from tying Michael Bates for most consecutive appearances in Panthers history. Before missing the Panthers last three games to a concussion, Luke had tallied 102 combined tackles, 2 sacks, and 1 INT. It will be interesting to see if Kuechly plays anymore this season and if he (or can he) play in the Pro Bowl.

-Olsen needs just eight yards to be the first tight end in NFL history with three consecutive 1,000 yard seasons.

-Thomas Davis continues his high level performance bouncing back from three ACL tears on the same knee. He's piled up 92 tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 3 INT's. He and Kuechly are perhaps the best linebacker duo in the NFL.

-Tolbert stands out in an era where "fullbacks" are seldom used. He was a perfect fit for the new flex position put in for voting this season.
