Carolina Panthers: Fantasy Football Projections Week 5

The Carolina Panthers had another bad week on offense. The Panthers offense only produced 10 points and only had 315 total yards of offense. The Baltimore Ravens completely shut down the Panthers and made them look like the University of North Carolina Tar Heels.

How are the Carolina Panthers players going to perform in week 5?

My Week Five Projections:
  • Cam Newton: 19 pts (280 passing yards, 2 touchdown)
  • Kelvin Benjamin: 17 pts (110 yards, 1 touchdown)
  • Darrin Reaves or Chris Ogbonnaya: 12 pts (100 rushing yards, 25 receiving yards)
  • Greg Olsen: 14 pts (80 yards, 1 touchdown)
  • Panthers Defense: 10 pts

My week five recommendations:
The Chicago Bears defense is all banged up so this gives the Carolina Panthers offense a good opportunity to put up some numbers on the scoreboard. Benjamin and Olsen are a strong play this week. I would bench the Panthers defense, Cam Newton and the running backs this week. If you want to win your league, you need to start sure things.

What were my week four fantasy football projections?

My Week Four Review:
The Carolina Panthers couldn't even pronounce the word offense this past Sunday. The Panthers only scored 10 points and the only player that benefited from that was Kelvin Benjamin. All of my other fantasy football projections were off because of the lack of offense and defense. If you started any Panthers other than Benjamin I am sorry…

My Week Four Projections were:
  • Cam Newton: 18 pts (250 passing yards, 2 touchdowns)
  • Kelvin Benjamin: 15 pts (90 yards, 1 Touchdown)
  • DeAngelo Williams: 16 pts (100 yards, 1 Touchdown)
  • Greg Olsen: 12 pts (60 yards, 1 Touchdown)
  • Panthers Defense:  13 pts

Week Four Results (According to ESPN):
  • Cam Newton: 11 pts (197 Yards, 1 Touchdown)
  • Kelvin Benjamin: 13 pts (5 receptions, 76 yards, 1 Touchdown)
  • DeAngelo Williams: DNP
  • Mike Tolbert: DNP
  • Greg Olsen: 3 pts (2 receptions, 30 yards)
  • Panthers Defense: -8 pts
