Carolina Panthers Advent Calendar: December 24

Carolina Panthers Advent Calendar: December 24

A little over three weeks ago, I decided to start this series of articles for our advent calendar. Over the last 23 days we've revisited some of the highest highs and some of our lowest lows. We've looked back through some outstanding draft picks and remembered some busts. All in all, I have thoroughly enjoyed reminiscing days gone by, and I hope you have enjoyed reading them. Like any normal advent calendar though, Christmas eve is the last day with a chocolate, so I'm afraid this will be the finale.

Carolina Panthers Advent Calendar: Day 22 (One Faitfull Day In Panthers' History)

Picture the scene. A 10-4 Panthers matching up against a 10-4 Saints. Two weeks removed from the Saints inflicting a heavy loss on us to snap our eight game winning streak. A potential NFC South crown and a first round bye on the line. It's been a hard fought game in the pounding rain. Trailing 13-10, on our own 35 yard line,

Carolina Panthers Advent Calendar: December 16

I'm going to take a break from the norm today, and use today to remind ourselves of not one, not two, but three Panthers to wear number 16. Each one has had varying levels of success and notoriety wearing the black and blue, and I thought all of them were worth a quick mention. Each have set records, and not all of them were good. Carolina Panthers Advent: December 14th

It's victory Monday once again everyone, I'm getting quite used to these now. I suppose we have had 13 of the them. Carolina Panthers Advent: December 8th

We've reached day 8 of December already, where does this time go? So I guess you know the drill by now, that means day 8 of our advent calendar. Like most of these low numbers, the players that have worn them are few and far between, and within the ones that have there is precious little to write about. It's victory Monday. Revel in the glory guys, 12-0 feels just fantastic doesn't it? I know the #C3 podcast doesn't air until Tuesday night, but for the advent calendar today I'm borrowing a segment from the show. So far in this series we've looked back at good and bad quarterbacks to don the famous Black and Blue. We've covered superb and record setting performances, and draft successes. We've even trawled back through seasons gone by and looked at memorable wins. Today we tell a former Panther (kind of) to ICE UP SON!

Carolina Panthers Advent Calendar: December 4th

December 4th. On this day back in 2011 Cam Newton was breaking records (what's new?) He set the single season record for rushing Touchdowns by a quarterback when he ran for THREE scores versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If you have been reading this series you may remember that was the total number Jimmy Clausen threw for the entire previous season, but I digress...
