A few C3 writers were feeling froggy one night and challenged each other to a picks contest. After spending the first two rounds on Offense, the Panthers turn their attention to the defensive backfield.  Rollins has all the tools and fits the size and mold the Panthers want.  He has visited with the team and he’s available at pick 89 because only turned to football for his Sr. year of College after starring in basketball.  He is a fluid athlete and could probably use a year sitting behind Peanut Tillman.

Mid-Round picks have been kind to Dave Gettleman’s Panthers, and hopefully this doesn't change anytime soon. The Panther’s have a whopping seven picks after the second round, and hopefully they turn into 5-7 solid contributors over the next few years. Overall, this draft class may be as deep as last year, and potentially have future pro bowl talent all over the board on day 2 of the draft. Here are a few players that could be absolute steals when the Panthers are on the clock rounds 3-7.
